Mercor is seeking experienced finance professionals fluent in Mandarin to train and evaluate AI agents on realistic tasks. The role involves creating and reviewing tasks, defining grading criteria, and validating agent outputs in a corporate finance context.

The position is remote, about 21 hours per week, paid hourly, with a pilot running Oct 23 to Nov 19. A mainland China Bachelor's degree and strong knowledge of Chinese financial practice are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate finance, banking, investment or audit.
• Native or fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in mainland China.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese financial practice (Chinese Accounting Standards, CSRC regulation, A-share markets, Chinese tax filings).

Responsibilities

• Build realistic workspaces by reviewing files, memos and records for a project or case.
• Write tasks that reflect real colleague/client requests grounded in local practice and terminology.
• Define clear grading criteria and assess whether an AI agent's output meets professional standards.
• Review an agent's step-by-step work and correct mistakes like wrong calculations or missed details.
