The United Firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney with a strong background in Mandamus actions and federal litigation to represent clients whose immigration applications have unreasonably delayed by USCIS or other agencies. The Associate will handle a high-volume caseload, conduct research, draft briefs, and advocate in removal proceedings when needed.

You will work under the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate with our Immigration Team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of Immigration Law Experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
• 2+ years of experience in immigration law with Mandamus and APA litigation preferred.
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.

• Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.

• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments.
• Present to and work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.
• Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy.
• Develop strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney with a strong background in Mandamus actions and federal litigation. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients whose immigration applications or petitions have been unreasonably delayed by USCIS or other government agencies. This role requires excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills, along with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. As the Associate Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney, you will also manage your caseload, as well as client interaction, and can collaborate with our wonderful Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

• Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
• Manage workload of cases

• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
• Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of Immigration Law Experience
• A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associates
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of experience in immigration law, with at least 1 year handling Mandamus and APA litigation preferred.
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Record of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseload
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
