France Ave Pet Hospital in Bloomington, Minnesota seeks an experienced Managing Veterinarian to lead the hospital while continuing to practice high-quality medicine.
You will partner with leadership and Heartland Veterinary Partners to support medical quality, doctor engagement, mentorship, and an exceptional client/patient experience. This role offers leadership without leaving clinical medicine.
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Active Minnesota veterinary licensure or ability to obtain it.
- Experience practicing small animal medicine.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Collaborative and approachable leadership style.
- Interest in mentoring and developing veterinarians.
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat small animal patients with high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care.
- Serve as clinical leader and resource for the veterinary team.
- Mentor associate veterinarians and support professional development.
- Promote communication and collaboration among doctors, staff, and leadership.
- Help maintain high standards of medical care and hospital culture.
- Support doctor engagement, retention, and leadership development.
