Sodexo is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative Managing Sales Vice President, Higher Ed (West) to drive growth, cultivate relationships, and deliver impactful solutions within our university segment.

Work Environment

This position allows for remote work from home with travel as needed (50-70%).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the sales strategy and oversee the sales process.
  2. Lead and develop the sales team.
  3. Create and implement business plans, budgets, and forecasts to meet sales and market growth targets.
  4. Align strategic plans with long-term corporate goals.
  5. Identify customer objectives and tailor Sodexo solutions accordingly.
  6. Maintain accurate client and prospect data, and conduct competitive analysis.
  7. Assess customer needs, develop solutions, and present recommendations to decision-makers.
  8. Build relationships with senior management (e.g., CEO, COO, CFO) to explore horizontal sales opportunities.
  9. Ensure team focuses on customer satisfaction and maintains sales process integrity.
  10. Identify potential projects that align with corporate vision to increase profitability.
  11. Monitor strategic plan implementation to ensure goals are achieved.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant functional experience in sales
