Job summary

Exponent, Inc. is seeking a Manager/Managing Engineer to lead Thermal Sciences projects across multiple locations, including Warrenville, IL and Chicago, IL.

The role focuses on mechanical plant systems design, EPC services, and commissioning within a multidisciplinary team serving various industrial sectors. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience in in-plant design, maintenance, and operations, with consulting and dispute experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projects.
• Strong ability to conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Client-facing technical consulting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations.
