Barings is seeking a Managing Director to lead Product Strategy & Management, reporting to the firm's Chief Operating Officer. The role owns the end-to-end product agenda across Barings' public and private asset classes.

• 15+ years of asset management experience with a track record in product management or product strategy.
• Breadth across public and private markets; depth in credit is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience launching funds and vehicles through institutional governance.
• Strong commercial judgment including fee and pricing strategy and profitability.
• Experience serving institutional, insurance and wealth channels; familiarity with insurance solutions preferred.
• Track record building, leading and developing global teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with executive and board-level presence.

Responsabilidades

• Set the multi-year product roadmap across public and private markets, aligned to firm growth strategy.
• Define the investment case and target client and vehicle approach for each new strategy.
• Partner with the Global Client Group, CIOs and investment leadership on capacity and platform gaps.
• Own fund and strategy launches end to end, from proposal through governance approval and go-live.
• Run periodic product reviews covering scale, profitability, performance and overlap; recommend rationalization and repositioning.
• Oversee vehicle structuring across commingled funds, SMAs, UCITS, ELTIF and evergreen structures.
• Lead governance and reporting into boards, committees and fund governance forums.
• Build strong partnerships with Investments, Global Client Group, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk and Operations.
• Lead, develop and scale a global product team across Charlotte, London and Asia Pacific.
