Healy Hunt is recruiting an experienced Managing Director to lead originations on the East Coast for a well-respected private credit firm. The role targets roughly $100 million in annual origination across 4–6 deals, with a focus on venture debt and lower mid-market financing.

Ideal candidates will have a track record of lending to tech and/or healthcare sectors and a strong network to source and close middle-market transactions in the United States.

Job description

Out client, a well-respected private credit organisation, is looking to bring on a new Managing Director to act as the main originator for the business on the East Coast.

The lender is focused on venture debt/the lower mid-market; loan sizes tend to be between $10m and $30m although the business has lent up to $75m on some deals. They're looking for someone who can originate around $100m (across 4-6 deals) annually.

Experience of lending to the tech and/or healthcare sectors would be ideal.
