Forbes News Today is seeking a Managing Director, Principal Giving to lead a high-impact principal gifts program. Remote role with travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, reporting to the VP of Principal Giving.

You will manage a 40–50 strong portfolio of major donors, focusing on seven, eight, and nine-figure gifts to drive UNICEF USA funding and strategic partnerships. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 8–10+ years in fundraising, a proven track record of seven-figure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fundraising or related field.
• Experience cultivating and closing seven-figure gifts.
• Experience with complex gifts and negotiations with institutional leaders.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 40–50 UHNW prospects, focusing on seven to nine-figure gifts.
• Aim for $1–2M revenue in year one and grow to at least $10M annually.
• Develop a pipeline with at least 10 proposals yearly.
• Create innovative funding proposals leveraging UNICEF program areas.
• Collaborate with teams to identify prospects and build donor relationships.
• Support junior fundraisers and align with Major Gifts team.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
