Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director in our People & Transformation practice to lead change management, leader enablement and employee engagement programs within multi-disciplinary teams.

You will work directly with C-suite, Boards and advisors, shaping programs aligned with client culture and goals, while delivering measurable outcomes in fast-paced environments. Some travel is required. This role combines strategic advisory with hands-on delivery and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience in communications leading large transformations.
• Prosci or similar change management certification (preferred).
• Ability to advise clients at senior levels.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client mandates and act as strategist and implementer.
• Present to C-suite executives and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and execute communication strategies for planned changes.
• Coordinate change management to build capability and address resistance.
• Track KPIs and manage budgets; coordinate across teams.
• Coach junior staff and contribute to practice leadership.
