Managing Director – Litigation Support, Forensics & Valuations

Locations: New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, San Francisco

I am partnering with a rapidly scaling boutique advisory firm focused squarely on litigation support, disputes, forensic accounting, and valuation services. Backed by private equity and entering a significant growth phase, the firm is seeking senior, revenue-generating Managing Directors with deep domain expertise to help build and lead market-facing practices across several major U.S. cities.

This opportunity is designed for proven practitioners in litigation-driven advisory work who want the platform, capital, and autonomy to scale without the bureaucracy of a large firm environment.

The Opportunity:

The firm is executing an ambitious expansion strategy following PE investment and is actively hiring Managing Directors with a demonstrated ability to originate, lead, and deliver complex litigation support, forensic, or valuation engagements.

Successful candidates will bring at least $1M in portable, defensible revenue derived from disputes, investigations, expert testimony, damages analysis, or valuation-related work, with a clear pathway to scale to $3M+ within five years.

Managing Directors will have full ownership over building their client relationships, practice vertical, and team, supported by centralized infrastructure and compensation directly tied to the growth they generate.

Candidate Profile

• Managing Director–level professionals with a portable book of ~$1M+ specifically within:
• Litigation support and disputes
• Forensic accounting or investigations
• Valuations (including shareholder disputes, damages, solvency, or transaction-related litigation)
• A strong track record of business development in contentious or litigation-adjacent environments
• Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial platform
