Job summary

CFGI in San Diego seeks a Managing Director to lead and expand our Financial Due Diligence practice within Transaction Advisory Services. You will own strategic client relationships, oversee complex buy-side and sell-side engagements, and drive growth with senior professionals and clients.

You will provide senior technical oversight on US GAAP, deal structuring, and earnings quality, coordinate cross-functional teams, and originate new business while mentoring Directors and Managers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in public accounting, transaction advisory, consulting, corporate finance, accounting, or related finance environment.
• Prior financial due diligence experience leading engagements and evaluating transaction-related financial matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive engagement leader and senior advisor for buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Advise on transaction-related financial risks, valuation considerations, working capital, debt items, and deal execution.
• Lead client relationships and multidisciplinary teams delivering due diligence, advisory, carve-out, and transaction support services.
• Provide senior technical oversight on U.S. GAAP, transaction accounting issues, and complex deal structures.
