We are partnered with their Consumer Investment Banking platform, which is actively hiring experienced Managing Directors with deep industry expertise, established client relationships, and a demonstrated ability to generate approximately $5 million or more in annual M&A advisory fees.

Title: Consumer Investment Banking Managing Director

Location: Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Seattle, Boston or LA

Compensation: $300,000 Base + share of Revenue Generated

The firm is seeking seasoned Consumer Managing Directors with deep expertise across one or more Consumer subsectors, including:

• Beauty & Personal Care

• Consumer Services

The successful candidates will lead client coverage, originate and execute transactions, and play a significant role in expanding the Consumer Investment Banking platform. The firm is also open to strategic team lift-outs, including Managing Directors who wish to bring a Director or additional senior banker/senior team of MDs and juniors alike.

Key Responsibitites:

• Originate, structure, and execute primarily sell-side M&A transactions with enterprise values ranging from $100 million to $1 billion, with the firm's sweet spot between $100 million and $500 million.
• Develop and expand relationships with founders, CEOs, family-owned businesses, public companies, strategic acquirers, and private equity sponsors across the Consumer sector.
• Deliver high-quality strategic advisory services on engagements that typically generate $2mn in advisory fees.
• Lead transaction execution while mentoring Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts.
• Drive business development initiatives within specialized Consumer verticals and contribute to the continued expansion of the Consumer franchise.
• Help build the practice through strategic hiring, including the opportunity to bring over additional senior bankers.
