Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director in its People & Transformation practice to lead change management, leader enablement, and employee engagement programs across multi-disciplinary teams. The role involves working closely with C-suite and Boards to tailor programs to client culture and goals, while maintaining integrity and delivering outcomes for a range of transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience in communications leading people-side transformations.
• Prosci or similar change management certification (preferred).
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients at the seniormost levels and adapt to different approaches.
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Proven people/team management skills and a willingness to teach and mentor.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
• Strong time and priority management and ability to juggle multiple client accounts.
• Willingness to travel to clients and FTI offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day client lead on accounts, managing the overall quality of work and representing the team in client meetings and at client sites.
• Present confidently to C‑suite executives as a trusted advisor and keep stakeholders engaged at each stage of the project.
• Develop and lead the execution of communication strategies that ensure timely and accurate information about planned changes; leverage cross‑functional insights.
• Complement change management strategies to build capability, accelerate progress, and address feedback.
• Track program KPIs within a PMO, adapting strategies to keep projects on time and budget; propose multiple strategies.
• Manage up and down across teams to ensure work is coordinated and budgeted.
• Develop and manage client budgets and oversee billing; anticipate needs of senior leaders.
• Grow engagements through referrals and development of offerings aligned with market needs.
