Managing Director - Fine Jewelry E-Commerce Brand

Seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead an emerging fine jewelry brand through a pivotal transformation. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on e-commerce leader who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and can balance creative vision with business discipline. Reporting directly to the founder and investor, you will have primary responsibility for driving profitability while elevating their digital brand presence.

This position offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of an emerging luxury brand with significant growth potential. The ideal candidate will combine e-commerce expertise with entrepreneurial drive and a passion for fine jewelry.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive business plan focused on revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability
• Lead the digital brand presence, including website experience, marketing strategy, and compelling brand storytelling
• Build an efficient team structure
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, digital marketing, and e-commerce optimization

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record running an e-commerce jewelry business, ideally within the designer or fine jewelry categories, focused on North American distribution
• Experience in startup environments with lean teams, demonstrating hands-on leadership without corporate bureaucracy
• Strong merchant mindset that effectively balances creativity with commercial discipline
• Expertise with the Shopify platform and comprehensive digital brand building (web, social media, digital marketing)
• Demonstrable success building revenue, reducing costs, and creating profitability, particularly in turnaround or successful launch scenarios
• Fully remote; proximity to NYC-area warehouse is necessary
