Job summary

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Managing Attorney to lead our litigation operations for a high-volume civil portfolio.

You will supervise staff and associate attorneys, mentor junior lawyers, enforce production and compliance standards, and manage state-specific litigation matters for designated accounts. The role requires Nevada bar admission, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Nevada and in good standing.
• High-volume civil litigation experience.
• Debt-collection experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professionalism and ethics required.
• Collaborative team player.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio of accounts to achieve client goals and protect client and Z&A interests.
• Implement, manage, and improve litigation processes.
• Interview, supervise, train, and assign duties to the litigation staff.
• Liaise with the Litigation Operations and Audit departments to ensure compliance with client expectations, firm policies, and regulations.
• Train associate attorneys and staff on operating procedures and processes.
• Enforce production and performance expectations for all staff and attorneys.
• Review and draft pleadings, motions, etc.
• Respond to correspondence from opposing counsel and courts.
• Advocate for client interests in hearings and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, responses, discovery, etc.
• Ensure documentation in RMS notes and files in compliance with standards.
• Travel to various courtrooms as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
