The Manager, Warehouse and Transportation Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse and transportation operations, with a focus on food distribution. This role involves managing the warehouse, budget, safety and sanitation, slotting, and a pick and pack operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food distribution and experience with S2K software.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.

Oversee transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.

Develop and manage the warehouse and transportation budget.

Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Optimize warehouse layout and slotting to maximize efficiency.

Manage a pick and pack operation to fulfill customer orders.

Utilize S2K software to manage warehouse and transportation activities.

Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse and transportation staff.

Continuously improve warehouse and transportation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

Experience in a managerial role overseeing food distribution with regards to transportation and warehouse operations.

Proven experience managing a warehouse, budget, safety and sanitation, slotting, and a pick and pack operation.

Proficiency in S2K software.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent knowledge of food distribution regulations and best practices.
