The Manager, Video & Visual Storytelling is a hands‑on production lead responsible for creating, directing, and delivering compelling video content that advances the health system's brand, marketing, and communications priorities. This role blends strategic thinking with day‑to‑day production execution‑serving as both lead videographer/editor and creative partner to marketing and communications teams. Reporting to the Director of Brand Engagement, the Manager, Video & Visual Storytelling is responsible for the day‑to‑day direction for in‑house video and determines opportunities for video storytelling in alignment with marketing, communications, advancement and human resources efforts. They anticipate and visualize content needs based on current trends, events and strategic priorities; and adhere to the video production workflow: upon leadership approval, will partner with key MarComm stakeholders for concept development, storyboarding and shot list creation followed by the approval process. Will manage the daily operations of the video needs. This position ensures video storytelling is on‑brand, clinically appropriate, emotionally resonant, and optimized for channel performance, spanning short‑form social video through longer‑form narrative content.
Bachelor's Degree Multi-media, Video Production, Photography or other related field Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
5 years experience with professional video production (in‑house, agency or brand environment) Required
Previous experience and strong hands‑on expertise in filming, lighting, audio, and editing Required
Previous experience in Videography in a medical setting Preferred
Previous experience working in complex, highly regulated environments (healthcare, higher ed, public sector) Preferred
