Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years in warehousing/logistics, with at least 2 years supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external partners; strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~13 Warehouse Associates and Drivers in a 24-hour operation handling ~4 million pounds per year.
• Oversee and manage warehouse budgets, staffing, KPIs and records.
• Resolve customer service and operational issues; implement process improvements for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with upper management to improve service levels.
• Promote safety via OSHA/DOT regulations and Mohawk safety policies; lead regular safety meetings.
• Oversee inventory controls, adjustments and cycle counts.

What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Warehouse Manager to assist in leading the daily operation and success of our Westampton, NJ warehouse location. This position will also participate in planning, developing and implementing optimum service delivery strategies to achieve desired results.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team of approximately 13 combined Warehouse Associates and Drivers. It is a 24 hour operation facility which delivers about 4 mil pounds per year.
• Oversee and manage operational activities for warehouse location including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective and smooth-flowing operations of warehouse location
• Work with upper management to coordinate and improve service
• Promote safe work environment through adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations as well as Mohawk Safety polices and Standards. Conduct regular safety meetings
• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle count process
• Ensure all employees are treated in a fair, equitable and consistent manner

What you have:

• Four-year college degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising employees and implementing cost‑saving measures
