Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operation and drive service delivery strategies for the Sacramento warehouse. This role will participate in planning and implementing optimal service delivery to achieve results.

You will oversee a 24-hour facility with approximately 17 staff, manage budget/KPIs, and drive process improvements while coordinating with upper management to enhance service.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of warehousing/logistics operations experience, including at least 2 years supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team while driving process improvements.

• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle counting.
• Ensure fair, equitable and consistent treatment of all employees.

What We Need

Mohawk is looking for a Warehouse Manager to assist in leading the daily operation and success of our Sacramento CA, warehouse location. This position will also participate in planning, developing and implementing optimum service delivery strategies to achieve desired results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a team of approximately 17 combined Warehouse Associates and Drivers. It is a 24 hour operation facility which delivers about 4 mil pounds per year.
• Oversee and manage operational activities for warehouse location including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective and smooth-flowing operations of warehouse location
• Work with upper management to coordinate and improve service
• Promote safe work environment through adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations as well as Mohawk Safety polices and Standards. Conduct regular safety meetings
• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle count process
• Ensure all employees are treated in a fair, equitable and consistent manner

What You Have

• Four-year college degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising employees and implementing cost‑saving measures

Pay Rate

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Compensation and range may vary by location. Final base pay is determined based on job‑related factors such as work location, skills, experience, education, and training, consistent with applicable state and local laws. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include incentive compensation, commissions (if applicable), discretionary bonuses, short‑and long‑term incentives, and company‑sponsored benefits.
