Job summary

Fox Factory, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Transportation Manager to oversee the company’s transportation operations, budgeting, and staff leadership.

You will coordinate carrier relationships, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering cost-effective solutions. This on-site role offers opportunities to optimize processes and implement data-driven improvements across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 5+ years in a relevant role.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety standards compliance and aligns objectives with management directives.
• Manages transportation budget and ensures funds are used appropriately.
• Maintains databases detailing transport activities, financials, schedules, and records.
• Screens, hires, trains staff and oversees performance evaluations and promotions.
• Trains staff on policies, procedures, and new laws or tech advances.
• Acts as a point of contact for customers, builds relationships and handles complaints.
• Allocates driver assignments and coordinates logistics operations.
• Manages insurance claims and transport damages, and warranty coordination.
• Data-driven reporting and KPI tracking across transport activities.

Position Responsibilities

• Assures compliance of safety standards and that organizational objectives dictated by management are followed.
• Manages the transportation budget and makes certain funds are properly utilized.
• Manages databases that detail transport activities, financial accountings, employee schedules, and personnel records.
• Screens, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
• Trains staff in department policies and procedures, and shares information about new laws or technological advances.
• Serves as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints.
• Allocates driver assignments.
• Manages insurance claims
• Manages transport damages
• Coordinates all warranty claims
• Data driven and reporting of KPI’s
