Hertz Local Edition is seeking a Manager Trainee to join our Lee's Summit branch. In this hands-on role, you’ll learn how to run a successful rental location while delivering a great customer experience and supporting daily branch operations.

This opportunity trains you for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months, with structured training and real‑world experience to grow your leadership career at Hertz.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Customer service, sales, retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, computer, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Interested in growing into leadership opportunities with structured training.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and applying effective sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
