The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Entry into the program may lead to management roles within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.

Responsibilities

An MIT is a management team member expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the Store Manager's supervision, the MIT will lead by example to maintain an engaged, productive team.

The MIT supports the Store Manager in:

• Overall store management, supervision, and policy enforcement
• Financial management, including managing, analyzing, and reconciling monthly P&L statements
• Staffing, training, and development
• Inventory management
• Customer service leadership

MITs must complete operations and management training, learn about the business and culture, and demonstrate consistent progress to remain in the program and be considered for management openings.

Note: Promotion to Store Manager/Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and available openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work full-time flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required
