The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion to Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

As a management team member, an MIT is expected to:

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance
• Support overall store management, including:

• Store operations, supervision, and policy implementation
• Financial management, including analyzing and reconciling P&L statements
• Employee staffing, training, and development
• Inventory management
• Customer service leadership

MITs must complete operations and management training, learn key business aspects, and demonstrate consistent progress to remain in the program. Promotion to management depends on performance and availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work full-time flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Automotive experience and financial analysis experience are preferred but not required
