The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

An MIT is part of the management team, expected to live the pledge, deliver WOW! customer service, and drive store performance. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the MIT will lead a team and support store operations, including:

• Store management, supervision, and policy implementation
• Financial management, including analyzing and reconciling P&L statements
• Employee staffing, training, and development
• Inventory management
• Customer service leadership

MITs must complete training, demonstrate performance, and show progression to remain in the program. Promotion to management depends on performance and available openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work flexible full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required
