What You Will Do:
The Manager Trainee is a full-time, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a leadership role. It offers hands-on training in store operations with promotion potential to management within 6-12 months, leading to significant pay increases. Many progress to General Manager roles within 3-4 years. Completion of the training plan and willingness to relocate are required.
No experience is required to start your career at 84 Lumber. Just bring dedication and a willingness to learn; we will support your development! The training includes classroom, online, and hands-on learning in areas such as sales, store operations, blueprint reading, forklift operation, business management, and Microsoft Office.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Work involves indoor and outdoor settings, assisting customers in various weather conditions, with physical activities including standing, walking, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Machinery and airborne particles may be present.
