The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to a management role may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.
An MIT is a member of the management team, expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the MIT will:
MITs are responsible for completing training and learning about key aspects of the business and culture. Satisfactory performance and progression are required to remain in the program and be considered for management openings.
Note: Promotion to a Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and availability.
