Job description

Manager, Systems Engineering

Role Summary:

This is an onsite position responsible for implementing and operationalizing corporate initiatives related to systems implementation, GIS, and project management. The role acts as a bridge between strategic directives and contract execution, ensuring SIS strategies are integrated into local workflows. It requires leadership, technical expertise, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects from concept to completion. Reporting to the local ABQ manager with a direct line to the TX Director of Engineering and Development.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Implement SIS strategies locally, aligning with business objectives. Serve as the liaison between Systems Engineering and local teams, providing insights to refine strategies.

2. Asset Management Platform Oversight: Lead workflow implementation, manage asset inventory, work orders, stock, and work tracking. Act as software administrator and oversee API integrations with utility services.

3. GIS Coordination: Supervise GIS functions and subcontractors. Ensure GIS data is accurate and up-to-date. Manage GIS-related engineering and development tasks.

4. Coordination with Central Operations: Support tools such as TerraGo, Miro, and Monday.com. Improve internal process maps and workflows.

5. Collaboration & Communication: Work with R&D, operations, marketing, and sales to align engineering with business strategies.

6. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure outputs meet quality standards, contract metrics, and environmental goals. Establish continuous improvement processes.

This is an Onsite Role: Candidates must reside in Albuquerque, NM, or surrounding areas.
