Job summary

Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, CA seeks a Business Operations Analyst to oversee surgical services finances, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, revenue cycle, data reporting, capital planning and strategy coordination. You will draft fiscal policies and lead cross-functional process improvements across scheduling, registration and clinical departments.

Required: BS in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years in finance or accounting in a complex setting, and 1 year healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a complex business setting.
• Minimum of 1 year of health care experience.

Delegation scheduling tasks among those within the Outpatient Surgical Services Schedule team,
measuring and maintenance of critical patient satisfaction elements, and leading process improvement
efforts among the Outpatient Surgical Services Schedule team, registration, and clinical departments.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Bachelors of Science or equivalent work experience in Finance or Accounting upon hire
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a complex business setting
• Minimum of 1 year of health care experience

Preferred:

• Bachelors Degree
• 3-5 years of healthcare management
