Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Planning to lead the demand planning and replenishment for the Sams Club CFT within At-Home Retail Sales. You will collaborate with customer inventory teams to develop a consensus demand plan ensuring KDP products are on shelves when and where customers need them.

Responsibilities include building monthly demand forecasts, incorporating market intelligence, analyzing POS trends, and aligning forecasts with production and distribution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Sales Analytics, Forecasting or Demand Planning.
  • Understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Experience with advanced planning systems such as Demantra, SAP, Power BI, or O9 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of how demand planning impacts supply chain performance.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel/Access.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer orientation.

  • Lead KPI tracking for forecast accuracy and bias; report to senior management.
  • Support promotional activities and CPFR policies affecting demand planning.

Job description

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Mgr, Supply Chain Planning will manage the analysis, tracking, planning, forecasting, and replenishment needs for the Sams Club Customer Focus Team (CFT) within At-Home Retail Sales. In this role, you will work closely with customer inventory planning teams within Keurig Dr. Pepper (KDP) to develop a consensus demand plan and will ensure KDP products are on the retailer’s shelf, when and where our customers need them.

What you will do:
  • Manage the process of gathering data from all pertinent internal and external sources, creating an accurate monthly demand forecast representing requirements for production, with a strong focus on key customers
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to determine the impact of and incorporate market intelligence (i.e. competitive activity, retail trends and trade/consumer promotional activity) into the forecast
  • Review current POS (Point-of-Sale) trends, shipments, and inventory levels to provide in-depth analysis to adjust customer-level forecasts accordingly
  • Work closely with production planning and distribution to identify short term demand changes and make appropriate adjustments to the forecast
  • Manage the anticipated demand for new/seasonal products and/or new markets
  • Review variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals to provide guidance, understanding trends and future impact
  • Responsible for all customer forecasting and inventory replenishment activities including:
    • Service events to support promotional and seasonal activity
    • Ensuring numerous customer item settings are properly maintained to ensure appropriate store level product replenishment
    • Recommending CPFR policies to customer replenishment and inventory management teams
    • Effectively leveraging customer forecasting system reporting capabilities
  • Drive alignment of forecast with senior management
  • Manage the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team including forecast accuracy & attainment. Track performance, determine root causes of variance and drive consistent forecast bias
  • Actively work with CFT to understand promotional activities, key trade changes, key account plans & other sales tactics that may impact the demand plan and adjust statistical forecasts where necessary
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $96,800 - $125,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Sales Analytics, Forecasting and/or Demand Planning
  • An understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Experience in advanced planning systems a plus: Demantra, SAP, Power BI, O9
  • Knowledge of the supply chain and the impact of demand planning on supply chain performance
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong customer orientation
