Duly Health and Care, based in Downers Grove, IL, seeks a Manager, Supply Chain Operations to lead purchasing, inventory, and vendor management across its clinic network. Hybrid work hours and a strong focus on process improvement are offered.

Full-Time, Monday- Friday, Normal Business Hours Location: Downers Grove, IL; Hybrid
Lead and develop the Buyers, Inventory Management Specialists, and any Supervisors within the team, ensuring purchasing and inventory operations run smoothly and scale effectively across all sites.
Set staffing models and workload distribution standards across sites, ensuring the team scales with volume, exceptions, and shifting site priorities.
Establish service-level targets for purchase order turnaround, requisition backlog, and receiving exceptions; intervene directly on high-impact or unresolved issues.
Hire, develop, and evaluate team members — including building career paths and succession plans across the department.
Own the accuracy and integrity of purchasing and inventory operations across Duly's clinic and facility network, setting the standards and processes the team executes against.
Establish and enforce purchase order approval workflows and authority thresholds across the network.
Set inventory strategy — par levels and replenishment models — to minimize stockouts, expired product, and excess carrying costs, balancing service level against cost.
Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify root-cause trends and drive corrective action across teams and vendors.
Lead implementation of new item conversions, GPO contract changes, and formulary updates, partnering with clinical and category stakeholders.
Own receiving and delivery operations for main campus, ASC, and rural locations, ensuring consistent service levels network-wide.
Own vendor performance and serve as the primary point of resolution for supply chain issues affecting clinics and departments.
Resolve escalated vendor service failures, backorders, pricing discrepancies, and delivery issues, holding vendors accountable to performance standards.
Partner with clinics and operations leaders to resolve recurring supply issues, manage substitutions, and close workflow gaps.
Resolve the majority of issues independently, escalating only the highest-risk or strategic matters to the Director of Supply Chain Operations.
Translate purchasing and inventory performance into insights and process improvements that inform departmental strategy.
Build and maintain reporting and dashboards tracking departmental and vendor performance.
Deliver regular performance summaries — exception rates, resolution timelines, cost impact — with recommendations for action.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to streamline buying and inventory workflows across sites.
Manage team of 5 direct reports and work cross functionally with leaders in finance, accounting, sourcing, legal, and clinical operations.
Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree Field of Study: Business, Finance, Supply chain or other applicable field Years of Experience: 5-7 years of experience across purchasing, planning, and supply chain Describe Type of Experience: 2+ years experience managing a team 2+ years healthcare procurement experience strongly desired
Hands-on experience with ERP/supply chain systems (e.g., Lawson, Infor, Workday, Oracle, or similar) and inventory management or point-of-use technology.
Working knowledge of GPO contracting, purchase order lifecycle management, and inventory control methodologies (par levels, cycle counting, ABC analysis).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong people-leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a frontline team accountable to performance and service standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clinical staff, vendors, and department leadership.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $79K-118K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
