About the Role

We’re seeking a hands‑on and analytical Manager, Strategy & Ops to join our growing Finance & Strategy team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and business operations — delivering insights on the health and performance of our revenue and rightsholder partnerships (pairing trends in revenue and cost lines to explain the underlying business drivers), supporting data and analysis of our user‑acquisition efforts (including CAC/LTV modeling), and partnering with Audiomack leadership on operational and strategic initiatives across the business. You’ll report directly to the VP, Head of Finance and Strategy.

This role requires a highly analytical, organized, and collaborative individual who is comfortable working hands‑on with data, thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, and is eager to make an impact.

Business Operations & Insights
  • Deliver insights on the health and performance of Audiomack's content licensing and rightsholder partnerships, pairing trends in with royalty and cost lines to explain the fuller business picture.
  • Diagnose and explain the drivers behind changes in revenue across advertising and subscription products, surfacing trends and insights (not just numbers) for business leadership.
  • Monitor royalty expense and partner economics on an ongoing basis, flagging trends, variances, and anomalies worth investigating.
  • Write and maintain queries (SQL preferred) to pull, clean, and analyze data from internal systems.
  • Partner with Data and Engineering teams to improve the underlying data infrastructure supporting business insights.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards and scorecards to track operational and financial performance.
User Acquisition & Growth Analytics
  • Support financial and data analysis of user‑acquisition spend and performance across channels.
  • Build and maintain CAC/LTV models and forecasts to inform user‑acquisition investment decisions.
  • Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to evaluate campaign performance and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Translate user‑acquisition and engagement data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across departments within the organization.
  • Assist in planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial health and operational alignment.
  • Support senior Finance leaders on strategic initiatives, including involvement in international market analysis and go‑to‑market planning.
  • Identify and help implement opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ad hoc market research, benchmarking, and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Support cost analysis and departmental reporting to help teams manage against budget.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business operations, strategy, data analytics, or a related field; experience in music, media, or tech is a plus.

  • Experience with financial or growth modeling; comfort building CAC/LTV or similar forecasting models is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally across Finance, Marketing, Data, and Product teams.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Remote/hybrid flexibility
