Responsibilities include overseeing multi-project delivery, tracking progress in ServiceNow, and building a strong network of stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or closely related field.
  • 5 years experience in project management.
  • 3 years experience successfully managing large scale projects.
  • Willingness for change management and adaptive thinking.
  • Ability to inspire, lead, solve problems and strategically plan.
  • Ability to work under pressure to produce valuable output.
  • Strong time-management, mentoring, presentation, communication and conflict-management skills.

Summary

Manages a team to help collaborate with internal and external business partners to improve healthcare value and enable the achievement of the mission, vision, strategies, enterprise goals, and strategic business objectives. Creates operational departmental processes for standardization and efficiency. Improves the colleague and patient experiences and serves as an innovative, strategic partner. Aids leadership in the development of team goals, strategies, and vision. Cultivates a strengths-based culture of learning, improvement, and delivery of highly reliable, measurable results. Seeks new efficiencies with implementing standard processes and explores other opportunities to improve productivity.

Job Duties
  • In collaboration with department leadership, manage a team of project management professionals to support the enterprise in achieving its goals and mission in key initiatives and strategic projects, client delivery and technological efficiencies. Provides direct coaching and feedback to direct reports and team members.
  • Design, plans, delivers, evaluates, and continually support project management needs for the enterprise to drive healthcare value and achievement of enterprise goals. Track project progress into ServiceNow (project management system) to ensure standardized report outs. Utilize the portfolio management system and support the enterprise-wide intake and pipeline development of potential improvement projects.
  • Develop and deploy department operational processes to ensure client delivery satisfaction is at the forefront. Ensure the team is adopting new processes robustly for standardization and increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to help them understand, provide support, and enable them to make informed decisions as needed. Incorporates feedback mechanism into the approach.
  • Builds and maintains a professional peer network and membership in relevant professional organizations.
  • Remains current in healthcare industry trends and leading-edge portfolio and project management and takes on other projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or closely related field
  • 5 years experience in project management and
  • 3 years experience successfully managing large scale projects
  • Illustrates a willingness for change management and is an adaptive thinker.
  • Ability to inspire, lead, solve problems and strategically plan.
  • Ability to work under pressure to produce valuable output.
  • Must have time-management, decision making, mentoring, presentation, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to focus on details and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to be proactive, create and implement processes to uplift and improve the current state.
  • Must collaborate and possess resilience, managerial courage, flexibility, ethics, and professionalism. Must possess team building skills including emotional and social intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Direct supervisory and creating/implementing processes experience.
  • CSSBB - Certified Six Sigma Black Belt - American Society for Quality
Physical Demands
  • Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
