This position will support our AV Production team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Dallas, TX.

Summary

The Manager-Strategic Delivery is responsible for leading the Production Design team in the planning, coordination, and documentation of audio visual, scenic, and event technology requirements for produced events. This role provides leadership, coaching, resource management, and technical direction to Production Designers while ensuring the quality, consistency, and accuracy of design deliverables.This position is responsible for educating technical staff, sales staff, project managers, show-site staff, and divisional leaders on implementation-related issues and best practices. The Manager-Strategic Delivery interfaces broadly with cross-divisional teams and is accountable for departmental standards, team development, process improvement initiatives, and operational excellence.

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Production Design team members.
  • Directly supervise all full-time, part-time, and contingent Production Designers to include management of: Scheduling, Payroll, Customer Service Skills and Operational Policies.
  • Conduct performance discussions, development planning, and coaching sessions.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training activities.
  • Establish team goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Balance workloads and allocate resources to support business needs.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for complex event designs.
  • Create and review floor plans, technical drawings, and production documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, sales, operations, and project managers to develop event designs.
  • Maintain expertise in industry standards, design technologies, and production workflows.
  • Establish and maintain Production Design standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Oversee quality assurance and design review procedures.
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Support workload forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Establish and maintain Production Design standards, processes, and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, job aids, and training resources.
  • Support reporting, analytics, AI adoption, and process optimization efforts.

  • Support workload forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and venue regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in event production, production design, or related fields.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
