Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a Manager of Spiritual Care in New Britain, CT to lead spiritual care services across the network and support patients and staff. You will oversee chaplains, promote staff development, and ensure service integration within the interdisciplinary care model while upholding ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ministry, Divinity, or Theology.
• Two years of spiritual care experience with positive patient outcomes.
• Board Certification by APC, AJC or NACC.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and regional oversight of spiritual care services.
• Develop and support a high-performing team of chaplains and spiritual care professionals.
• Oversee departmental operations, staff development, and service integration within the interdisciplinary care model.
• Promote awareness of spiritual care and ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to support holistic well-being of patients, families, and staff.
