Job summary

Rossmoor, CA is home to a biotech/pharma organization seeking a hands-on Manager of Sourcing & Procurement to lead a team of buyers and manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and purchasing processes.

You will oversee POs, quotes, proposals, vendor onboarding, contracts, and procurement metrics while coordinating with finance, operations, quality, and other teams to ensure compliant, cost-efficient purchasing across indirect commodities, services, capital projects, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a procurement/purchasing team.
• Background in biotech, pharma, life sciences, medical device, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP, supplier compliance, documentation, and regulated purchasing.
• Experience with RFQs, RFPs, contracts, vendor onboarding, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• ERP experience required and familiarity with SOPs, policies, or procurement procedures.

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing biotech/pharma organization in Rossmoor, CA that is looking for a hands-on procurement leader to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and a team of buyers. This is a strong opportunity for someone with procurement leadership experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences, medical device, or another regulated environment. The right person will know how to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, improve purchasing processes, support compliance, and keep operations moving without delays.
