We are seeking a Manager, Software Engineer to lead the Identity Decisioning team, responsible for building backend systems that validate consumer identity across all Affirm products, complying with regulatory protocols like KYC. The team collaborates with Product, Compliance, Auth, Fraud, and other engineering teams to deliver transparent financial products that assist consumers in making informed purchasing decisions. As we expand to be a key player in e-commerce and retail, this is an exciting opportunity to join a core part of our mission.
Pay Grade - P. Equity Grade - 13. Compensation includes base pay, equity, stipends, and benefits, with a transparent pay structure based on experience, skills, and location.
Base pay ranges (annual): $225,000 - $275,000 in CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT; $200,000 - $250,000 in other states.
Affirm is a remote-first company, allowing most roles to be performed remotely within the U.S., with some requiring occasional office visits.
