We are looking for a Manager, Software Engineer to lead the Identity Decisioning team, responsible for building backend systems that validate consumer identity across all Affirm products, complying with regulatory protocols like KYC. The team collaborates closely with Product, Compliance, Authentication, Fraud, and other engineering teams to deliver transparent financial products that assist consumers in making informed purchasing decisions. Affirm offers a transparent pay structure based on location, experience, and skills, including base salary, equity, stipends, and benefits such as medical coverage, dental, and vision.
USA base pay ranges: $225,000 - $275,000 (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT), and $200,000 - $250,000 (other states).
Affirm is a remote-first company, with most roles allowing remote work within the country of employment, and some roles requiring occasional office presence.
