Duties

• Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to develop new features and software applications, as well as enhance existing applications.
• Work closely with fellow developers to share and build upon best practices, review logic, and adopt new technologies.
• Utilize various database systems and business processes to meet software needs.
• Oversee production support, maintenance, and enhancements of applications supporting Mutual Fund Trading and Clearing business.
• Collaborate with development teams and technology leaders across Schwab to improve product development, practices, and automation.
• Assess and apply emerging technologies and strategies to improve efficiency and innovation.
• Position allows for 100% remote work, reporting to Schwab's HQ in Westlake, TX, subject to workplace flexibility policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field with 72 months of progressive experience including:

• Microservices using .Net technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server) with OAuth, CSK3, or SAML security.
• Backend processes with relational (MS SQL) and NoSQL (Aerospike) databases.
• Coding with SOLID principles and GoF patterns in microservices and Cloud Native Architecture.
• Real-time event processing using IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, RAD, XP).
• Developing CICD pipelines with Jenkins or Bamboo, including testing and code quality tools.
• Source control with GitHub or BitBucket.
