Job summary

Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA is seeking an experienced Snow Cat Groomer Manager to lead all snow cat grooming operations. You will oversee the Snow Maintenance department, manage equipment and staff, and coordinate with the Garage Facility for maintenance and budgeting.

Responsibilities include scheduling operators, developing training programs, implementing the SnowSat fleet reporting tools, and supervising construction projects while controlling fuel and repair costs within approved

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 3-4 years on snow cat operations experience.
• 2-3 years management experience preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including day, swing, and grave shifts.
• Possession of a commercial driving license, including HAZMAT endorsements.

• Direct Snow Maintenance department operations, including equipment and staff.
• Coordinate maintenance with Garage Facility.
• Schedule snow cat operators.
• Assist in training program development and implementation.

• Manage construction projects and coordinate outside contractors.
• Control fuel, wages, and repair costs within budget.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

A Little About This Position

• Reporting to the Director of Slope Maintenance, incumbent is responsible for any and all snow cat grooming on Mammoth Mountain.
• Oversees all operations of Slope Maintenance department including but not limited to equipment and employees.
• Coordinates maintenance of any and all machines with Garage Facility.
• Provides scheduling of all snow cat operators.
• Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a rigorous training program.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the SnowSat fleet management system, including the development and implementation of reporting tools.
• Manages construction projects, including the coordination of outside contractors.
• Must manage fuel, wages and repair cost within budgetary guidelines set by department head.
• Responsible for any or all other responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: $80,213.49 - $84,825.66 per year
