Mammoth Mountain is seeking a capable supervisor to lead snow cat grooming operations at Mammoth Mountain. The role oversees the Slope Maintenance department, coordinating equipment, staff, and budgets while driving safety and efficiency in cold-weather conditions.
The position requires 3-4 years of snow cat operations experience and 2-3 years of management, with a commercial driver’s license (HAZMAT endorsements preferred). This is a fulltime, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Reporting to the Director of Slope Maintenance, incumbent is responsible for any and all snow cat grooming on Mammoth Mountain. Oversees all operations of Slope Maintenance department including but not limited to equipment and employees. Coordinates maintenance of any and all machines with Garage Facility. Provides scheduling of all snow cat operators. Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a rigorous training program. Responsible for the development and implementation of the SnowSat fleet management system, including the development and implementation of reporting tools. Manages construction projects, including the coordination of outside contractors. Must manage fuel, wages and repair cost within budgetary guidelines set by department head. Responsible for any or all other responsibilities as assigned.
Pay: $80,213.49 - $84,825.66 per year
