Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a Manager, Site Contracts in Boston (remote). You will lead end-to-end investigator site contract and budget negotiations, directly negotiating with sites and overseeing CRO partner performance to keep studies on schedule.

You’ll collaborate with Legal, Clinical Operations and Study Management to ensure contracts meet milestones and compliance. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (JD a plus) and proven experience in global site contracting, FMV budgeting, and

Responsibilities

• Lead site contract and budget negotiations with investigator sites and CRO partners.
• Act as the primary escalation point for legal and financial contracting issues.
• Ensure CRO vendors meet compliance, quality, and timeline standards.
• Collaborate with Legal to address alternative contract language and fallback provisions.
• Monitor contracting timelines and progress across multiple studies.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external partners; provide SME for complex studies.

Proclinical is seeking a Manager, Site Contracts to support global clinical studies in a remote capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful clinical research within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end process of investigator site contracts and budgets, directly negotiating with sites while overseeing CRO partner performance. You will collaborate closely with Legal, Clinical Operations, and Study Management teams to ensure site contracting aligns with study milestones.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; JD is a plus.
• Experience in clinical site contracting across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to oversee CRO partners and ensure vendor compliance with quality standards.
• Expertise in negotiating clinical site budgets, including fair market value assessments and study-specific budget parameters.
• Strong track record of managing contracting timelines for multiple global studies.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Clinical Operations, and Compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and contract management systems.
• Familiarity with global clinical contracting, including country-specific regulatory requirements and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve issues collaboratively and drive continuous improvement in contracting processes.

The Manager's responsibilities will be:

• Provide subject matter expertise for complex and high-priority studies across therapeutic areas.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and evolving study scopes.
