Sony Interactive Entertainment in California is seeking an accomplished Senior Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead a global team within the Gaming, Developer & Future Technology Group (GDFT). You will shape operations, guide software engineering processes, and drive reliability across cloud gaming services.
You will own day-to-day health of networks, servers, storage, and infrastructure, collaborate across functions, and travel to domestic and international datacenters as needed.
As a part of Sony Computer Entertainment, the Gaming, Developer, & Future Technology Group (GDFT) is leading the cloud gaming revolution, putting console‑quality video games on any device, from TVs to consoles to mobile devices and beyond.
The Service Reliability Engineering team plays a significant role in delivering on the promise of a great cloud gaming experience to our customers. We influence design and operational decisions towards the overall stability of the gaming service.
As an SRE, you will provide technical guidance and influence decisions about the software engineering process as well as provide guidance in operational processes. In this leadership role you will be influencing the outcome of Service Delivery and software automation engineering.
At SIE, compensation is based on market benchmarking, geographic location, and individual factors. The base pay range for this role is $184,600 - $277,000 USD. The role is eligible for SIE's top-tier benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program, employee discounts for Sony products, and may also include a bonus package.
