Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in the United States. The role focuses on managing expatriate tax services, developing client relationships, and leading policy creation and reviews for international assignments.

The Senior Manager track adds responsibilities for coordinating special projects with partners and pursuing expatriate program opportunities, with a proven ability to build client relationships and supervise staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of expatriate or individual tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• CPA/JD/LLM or Enrolled Agent among approved credentials; one year to obtain if not possessed.
• Prior work experience at an accounting firm.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Minimum seven years of expatriate or individual tax experience (Senior Manager).
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships.

• Create and review tax equalization and international assignment policies


• Review tax returns and equalizations of expatriate employees


• Mentor and coach staff


• Manage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilization

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:

• Coordinate special projects and work with partners on expatriate program proposals/business opportunities

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent expatriate or individual tax experience


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
