Job description

True North Insights is a global expert network that connects organizations with subject matter experts who provide critical insights to inform strategic decision-making.

We believe the right knowledge can move the world forward. Since day one, that belief has driven everything we do.We exist to break through complexity, giving global investors and business leaders frictionless access to the insights that matter most — insights that fuel confident decisions, unlock opportunity, and power successful careers.

Founded in 2019 in New York City, our firm has skyrocketed from launch to becoming #7 in North America and #10 globally in just five years — and we’re just getting started. As we expand into Europe and beyond, there’s never been a better time to join our high-growth, global team.

Why Join Us?

At True North Insights, you'll be part of one of the fastest-growing expert networks, partnering with leading healthcare and life sciences companies, institutional investors, and management consulting firms on their most important research initiatives.

As a Manager or Senior Manager, you'll lead talented teams, solve complex client challenges, and help shape how we deliver exceptional service as we continue to scale globally. You'll develop people, improve processes, and work alongside senior leadership while maintaining a front-row seat to fast-moving industries, evolving markets, and high-impact business decisions.

No two days are the same. One day you may be partnering with your team to deliver a time-sensitive investment diligence project, and the next coaching team members, refining operational strategy, or collaborating across global offices to drive better outcomes for clients and employees alike.

At True North Insights, growth comes from initiative, ownership, and results. You'll be trusted to make decisions, challenged to raise the bar, and given the opportunity to build something meaningful at a company where your impact is visible and your career progression is driven by performance, not tenure.

Manager/Senior Manager - Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Be a cultural ambassador for True North Insights, leading by example with a competitive mindset, relentless drive, and commitment to winning.
  • Partner directly with leading management consulting firms, institutional investors, and healthcare & life sciences organizations to execute complex, time-sensitive research engagements.
  • Identify, recruit, and engage senior industry experts to deliver high-quality insights across a broad range of industries and business topics.
  • Monitor team performance, coaching against key metrics and ensuring individual and team goals are consistently achieved.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, client experience, and operational efficiency, and take ownership of implementing meaningful improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Compliance, Recruiting, and International teams to deliver seamless client experiences and support company growth.
  • Play an active role in shaping the future of the business by contributing ideas, challenging existing processes, and helping build scalable solutions as the company continues its rapid global expansion.
  • Be flexible in supporting clients and engaging industry experts across global markets, with occasional work outside standard business hours as project needs require.
Qualifications
  • 1.5–5 years of experience within an expert network or primary research firm. Exceptional candidates with directly relevant client-side experience may also be considered.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly
  • A collaborative leader who leads by example, takes ownership, and thrives in a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Direct experience supporting Tier 1 or Tier 2 global management consulting firms on commercial due diligence, growth strategy, market assessments, operational improvement, or similar engagements.
  • Deep understanding of the pace, service expectations, and relationship management required to support consulting clients.
  • Professional fluency in English required. Additional languages are a plus.
