Manages security activities for all shifts, supervising the sergeants and officers. Administers training programs for all security staff and maintains the physical security programs and operations; including policies, regulations, systems, and procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors. Supervises daily activities of sergeants and officers, ensures posts are covered, buildings are inspected daily, staff receive designated breaks, policies are followed, and responds to security issues as needed.

This is a full-time day shift position, with flexibility to cover other shifts and weekends as needed, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• College experience preferred in Security or related field.
• MOAB Instructor Certified.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS.
• Professional Law Enforcement background at senior management level.
• NYS Mandated Security Officer Training.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English.

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5+ years’ experience as a manager/supervisor.
• 5+ years’ experience in security or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Executive Production, Healthcare Investigations, and Special Event Security.
• Knowledge of Criminal Investigation, Penal & Civil Law, and Management Skills.
• Knowledge of Computers, Fire Safety, and Management and Training Skills.
