Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a Manager, SAR Filing to oversee day-to-day SAR/CTR filing within the BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations team. You will supervise SAR filing analysts and ensure timely, accurate submissions in line with FinCEN and OCC expectations.

Reporting to the VP, SAR Filing, you will manage intake, triage, and quality controls, coordinate with internal teams and consultants, and drive continuous improvements in the end-to-end workflow while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

6+ years of BSA/AML experience, including SAR processing and investigations.
2+ years of people leadership and/or oversight of consultants or vendors.
Experience managing SLAs, service levels, and quality standards in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day SAR and CTR filing program, timeliness and quality.
Supervise internal SAR filing analysts responsible for SAR/CTR preparation and e-filing.
Own intake process and routing of referrals across internal and external channels.
Monitor regulatory timeliness, aging, backlog, and capacity; escalate as needed.
Ensure documentation meets baseline standards before hand-off to filing team.
Coordinate hand-offs with related squads to ensure smooth end-to-end flow.
Support VP relationships with consultants/vendors and participate in service reviews.
Assist regulatory examinations and internal audits with intake artifacts.
