We are looking for a knowledgeable and savvy Manager of Risk Management and Performance Improvement to serve as a key member of the hospital leadership team.
Job Summary: The Manager of Performance Improvement organizes, plans, develops, implements and oversees all performance improvement activities of the Hospital. Coordinates, oversees and participates in the functioning of all Medical Staff and hospital committees; acts as a liaison between committees and teams; interfaces with members of the Medical Staff and department directors and ensures that reports are submitted as required. Coordinates and actively participates in preparation of all external agency surveys. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the PI department; maintains current policies and procedures. The individual in this role is responsible for coordinating the risk management efforts and making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Garfield Park Hospital.
