Job summary

Caleres, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Manager, Retail Planning to shape omnichannel strategies and drive inventory allocation for renowned footwear brands. This role requires a strong background in planning, localization, and cross-functional leadership to align with market trends and customer demand.

You will present strategic insights to senior leadership and leverage Power BI/Tableau to identify opportunities, supporting growth across diverse channels and geographies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in Omnichannel inventory planning & fulfillment strategy.
• 5+ years experience in Assortment planning, localization, and size optimization (footwear-specific).
• Functioned in both field and corporate environments.
• Track record of Speed-to-market agility and trend responsiveness.
• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Office Suite.

• Optimize Inventory & Allocation: Create accurate demand forecasts by channel using sales trends, digital insights, and market data.
• Assortment & Product Lifecycle Management: Develop localized assortment strategies based on customer demand, geography, climate, and demographics.
• Strategic Leadership: Present strategic recommendations and business insights to senior leadership.
• Leverage Planning Systems: Power BI, Tableau, and analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
