General Summary

Under limited supervision, supervises and manages the daily operations and personnel of the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Program and Pharmacies. Supervises clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Assists in developing and implementing specific goals and objectives related to his/her area of responsibility. Supports the implementation of pharmacy department goals and objectives aligned with the mission of the department and UMMC to provide quality pharmaceutical care services.

Qualifications

• Licensure by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• A Master's, Doctorate, or Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science degree from an accredited college or university (by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy) is preferred. Current enrollment in an advanced degree program is also considered.
• Completion of a residency accredited by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists or comparable experience is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacist experience is required.
• Two years of supervisory or managerial practice experience is preferred.

Compensation

Pay Range: $66.98 - $106.96

Other Compensation (if applicable): Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus, up to $10,000 relocation assistance, MIP eligible
