Description

Provide counsel regarding concerns in the retail distribution industry, focusing on inventory management and overstore issues, and support business restructuring to enhance balance sheet management.

Specifically, execute and support projects aimed at disposing of clients' inventory, such as through store closings.

The role primarily involves two key areas:

1. Inventory data analysis and evaluation
2. Reporting project progress and profitability to the project manager, along with offering improvement suggestions

Manage revenue progress for assigned projects, report as needed, and advise on improvements. Analyze sales and inventory data by customer category, brand, and product expenses, utilizing tools like Excel, PowerPoint, or proprietary BI tools. Expect to handle 5-6 projects annually.

Flow of Disposition Operations

1. Identify customer business issues related to inventory and develop solutions to maximize profits.
2. Conduct inventory analysis from multiple perspectives based on data and client consultations, mainly with large industry-leading companies.
3. Propose solutions such as retail store sales (including store closures and outlet sales) and inventory disposal via e-commerce and wholesaler networks.
4. Set purchase and selling prices aligned with customer needs and execute sales plans collaboratively with the team.
5. Develop marketing strategies, possibly involving external vendors for media and online advertising.
6. Manage marketing, sales, and relationships with targeted retail industry clients.
